Commonwealth Places (Application of Laws) Amendment Regulations 2003 (No. 1)1
I, GUY STEPHEN MONTAGUE GREEN, Administrator of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Commonwealth Places (Application of Laws) Act 1970.

1 Name of Regulations
These Regulations are the Commonwealth Places (Application of Laws) Amendment Regulations 2003 (No. 1).
2 Commencement
These Regulations commence on 1 July 2003.
3 Amendment of Commonwealth Places (Application of Laws) Regulations 1998
Schedule 1 amends the Commonwealth Places (Application of Laws) Regulations 1998.

substitute
3 Liquor Act 1982 (NSW) not to apply to certain Commonwealth places
(1) The Liquor Act 1982 of New South Wales does not apply to a place that:
(a) is subject to a lease that authorises the sale of liquor; and
(b) is acquired by the Commonwealth for the construction of a civil airport; and
(c) is not subject to an airport lease under the Airports Act 1996 or the Airports (Transitional) Act 1996.
(2) This regulation ceases to have effect at the end of 31 December 2005.
