1 Name of Regulations

  These Regulations are the Primary Industries (Excise) Levies Amendment Regulations 2001 (No. 7).

2 Commencement

  These Regulations commence on 1 October 2001.

3 Amendment of Primary Industries (Excise) Levies Regulations 1999

  Schedule 1 amends the Primary Industries (Excise) Levies Regulations 1999.

1 Rate of levy — sale of deer velvet

  The rate of levy imposed by clause 2 of Schedule 8 to the Excise Levies Act on deer velvet is 3.5% of the sale value of the deer velvet.

2 Rate of levy — deer velvet used in producing other goods

  The rate of levy imposed by clause 3 of Schedule 8 to the Excise Levies Act on deer velvet is 3.5% of the declared value of the deer velvet.
