Road Transport Charges (Australian Capital Territory) Amendment Regulations 2001 (No. 1)1
I, PETER JOHN HOLLINGWORTH, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Road Transport Charges (Australian Capital Territory) Act 1993.

1 Name of Regulations
These Regulations are the Road Transport Charges (Australian Capital Territory) Amendment Regulations 2001 (No. 1).
2 Commencement
These Regulations commence on 1 October 2001.
3 Amendment of Road Transport Charges (Australian Capital Territory) Regulations 1995
Schedule 1 amends the Road Transport Charges (Australian Capital Territory) Regulations 1995.

The amount of the charge applicable to a load carrying trailer, a converter dolly or a low loader dolly is worked out using the formula:

Note Part 2 of the Schedule to the Act provides (under heading 5) that, if a vehicle falls within 2 or more of the specified categories, the charge for the vehicle is the higher or highest of the charges that could apply to the vehicle.
