These regulations are the Commonwealth Vehicles (Registration and Exemption from Taxation) Amendment Regulations 1999 (No. 1).

These regulations are the Commonwealth Vehicles (Registration and Exemption from Taxation) Regulations 1997.

4 Registration fee
(1) For paragraph 9 (1) (b) of the Act, the fee for registering a motor vehicle is the amount that would be payable, under a law of the State or Territory where the vehicle is being registered, for registering the vehicle.
(2) In subregulation (1), the reference to the law of the State or Territory is a reference to the law as in force when this subregulation commences.
