Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, WILLIAM PATRICK DEANE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Act 1985.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 29 July 1998.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Export Inspection (Quantity Charge) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.


3.   Regulation 2 (Interpretation)

3.1   Definitions of dried vegetable and meat product:

Omit the definitions.

4.   Regulation 3 (Rates of charge)

4.1   Subregulation 3 (2):

Omit the subregulation.

5.   Schedule

5.1   Omit the Schedule, substitute:

(b) is loaded at a rate of at least 400 tonnes per hour; and

(c) is not prepared for export using a system implemented under a certification assurance arrangement
