Australian Federal Police Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, WILLIAM PATRICK DEANE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Australian Federal Police Act 1979.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on gazettal.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Australian Federal Police Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.


3.   Regulation 2 (Interpretation)

3.1   Subregulation 2 (1)

Insert the following definition:

AFP means Australian Federal Police.”.

3.2   Subregulation 2 (1) (Definition of cost to the AFP for the use of the member’s time):

Omit “cost to the AFP for the use of the member’s time”, substitute “cost to AFP for use of member’s time”.

3.3   Subregulation 2 (1) (Definition of cost to AFP for use of member’s time):

Omit “159.4%” (wherever occurring), substitute “138.6%”.

4.   Regulation 48 (Waiver and exemption of fees)

4.1   Omit “or 47” (twice occurring).

5.   Schedule 6 (Fees)

5.1   Omit the Schedule, substitute:
