Health Insurance Commission Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, WILLIAM PATRICK DEANE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Health Insurance Commission Act 1973.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on gazettal.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Health Insurance Commission Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 3 (Additional functions of the Commission: investigations relating to inappropriate practices)

3.1   Subparagraph 3 (2) (c) (ii):

Omit the subparagraph, substitute:

 “(ii) a person may have committed an offence against section 23DP, 106D or 106EA, or subsection 19D (2), 19D (7), 104 (4), 104 (4A), 105A (3), 105A (5), 106E (1) or 106E (2), of the Health Insurance Act;”.
