Health Insurance Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Health Insurance Act 1973.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Health Insurance Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[Note:  These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation
Act 1901, s 48.]

2.   New regulation 22A

2.1   After regulation 22, insert:

Prescribed bodies—Part IVA of the Act

 22A. For paragraph 46B (b), subparagraph 46E (1) (a) (ii), subparagraph 46E (1) (e) (ii), paragraph 46E (2) (b) and paragraph 46E (3) (c) of the Act, the bodies mentioned in Schedule 1A are prescribed.”.

3.   New Schedule 1A

3.1   After Schedule 1, insert:
