National Health Regulations (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the National Health Act 1953.

Amendment

 1. The National Health Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE:  These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s.48.]

Regulation 6 (Prescribed diseases for purposes of paragraph 9B (d) of the Act)

 2. Omit the regulation, substitute:

Prescribed diseases (paragraph 9B (d) of the Act)

 “6. For paragraph 9B (d) of the Act, the following diseases are prescribed as diseases for which vaccines may be provided:

 (a) diphtheria;

 (b) Haemophilus influenzae type B;

 (c) hepatitis B;

 (d) influenza;

 (e) pertussis;

 (f) tetanus.”.
