Fisheries (Administration) Regulations

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under section 4 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, make the following Regulations under the Fisheries Administration Act 1991.

Citation

 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries (Administration) Regulations.

Commencement

 2. These Regulations commence on the commencement of the Fisheries Administration Act 1991.

Peak industry body

 3. For the purposes of subsection 4 (1) of the Fisheries Administration Act 1991, the National Fishing Industry Council is the peak industry body.
