Foreign States Immunities Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Foreign States Immunities Act 1985.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Foreign States Immunities Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Schedule

2.1   Part I, item 4:

Omit “Income Tax (International Agreements) Act 1953”, substitute “International Tax Agreements Act 1953”.

2.2   Part II, item 1:

Omit “1982”, substitute “1987”.

2.3   Part II, item 2:

Omit “1982”, substitute “1987”.

2.4   Part II:

Add at the end:

“8  Debits Tax Act 1990”.

2.5   Part IV, item 1:

Omit “1915-1985”, substitute “1915”.

2.6   Part IV, item 2:

Omit “1971-1986”, substitute “1971”.

2.7   Part IV, item 3:

Omit “1894-1987”, substitute “1894”.

2.8   Part IX:

Omit “Ordinance” (wherever occurring), substitute “Act”.

2.9   Part IX, item 8:

Omit “1954”, substitute “1959”.

2.10   Part X, item 1:

Omit “Ordinance”, substitute “Act”.

2.11   Part X:

Add at the end:

“4  Land Administration Fees Act 1996”.
