These regulations were originally made under the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) (Registration Fees) Act 1967 and remain in force under section 7 of the Offshore Petroleum (Registration Fees) Act 2006 (see Schedule 1, clause 2 of the Offshore Petroleum (Registration Fees) Act 2006).
