Commonwealth Inscribed Stock Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Commonwealth Inscribed Stock Act 1911.

Principal Regulations

1. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Commonwealth Inscribed Stock Regulations.

Replacement of lost, stolen or destroyed bearer securities

2. Regulation 66aa of the Principal Regulations is amended—

(a) by inserting in sub-regulation (1) “, or (if the owner is a minor) a parent or guardian of the owner may apply on behalf of the owner,” after “apply”;

(b) by inserting in paragraph (2) (b) “or the minor on whose behalf the application was made (as the case requires)” after “applicant”; and

(c) by omitting from sub-regulation (2) “applicant” (last occurring) and substituting “owner”.

3. Regulation 66ab of the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting “, or (if the owner is a minor), a parent or guardian of the owner,” after “owner” (first occurring).
