Marine Navigation (Regulatory Functions) Levy Regulations

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Marine Navigation (Regulatory Functions) Levy Act 1991.

Citation

 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Marine Navigation (Regulatory Functions) Levy Regulations.

Commencement

 2. These Regulations commence on 1 July 1992.

Interpretation

 3. (1)  In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:

“Act” means the Marine Navigation (Regulatory Functions) Levy Act 1991.

Amount of levy

 4. (1)  For the purposes of paragraph 7 (2) (a) of the Act, 9 cents is prescribed.

 (2) For the purposes of paragraph 7 (2) (b) of the Act, 7 cents is prescribed.

 (3) For the purposes of paragraph 7 (2) (c) of the Act, 7 cents is prescribed.

 (4) For the purposes of paragraph 7 (2) (d) of the Act, 6 cents is prescribed.
