Commerce (Imports) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Commerce (Trade Descriptions) Act 1905.

1. Commencement

1.1 These Regulations commence on 19 July 1994.

2. Amendment

2.1 The Commerce (Imports) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3. Fifth Schedule (Part I)

3.1 Item 3:

Omit “1966,”, substitute “1989,”.

4. Fifth Schedule (Part II)

4.1 Item 18:

Omit the item.

4.2 Item 19:

Omit the item, substitute:

“19.	Packages containing paper that is sold by weight, whether gross weight or net weight, in quantities weighing more than either 10 pounds or 4 kilograms.”.
