Health Insurance Commission Regulations2 (Amendment)
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Health Insurance Commission Act 1973.

1. After regulation 3 of the Health Insurance Commission Regulations the following regulation is inserted:
Additional functions of the Commission
“4. (1) For the purposes of sub-section 8e (1) of the Act the following functions are prescribed, that is to say, to administer, on behalf of the company and in accordance with an agreement entered into with the company, the medical benefits fund and the hospital benefits fund conducted by the company and to act as trustee of moneys received on behalf of the company.
“(2) In this regulation, ‘the company’ means A.M.W.S.U. Health Care Limited, being the company of that name incorporated in the State of Victoria.”.
Commencement
2. Regulation 1 shall be deemed to have come into operation on 29 October 1982.
