Freedom of Information (Miscellaneous
Provisions) Regulations2 (Amendment)
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Freedom of Information Act 1982.

Principal Regulations
1. In these Regulations, "Principal Regulations" means the Freedom of Information (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations.
2. Regulation 5 of the Principal Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:
Responsible Minister in respect of certain authorities
"5. For the purposes of paragraph (d) of the definition of 'responsible Minister' in sub-section 4 (1) of the Act, the Minister specified in Column 3 of an item in Schedule 3 is declared to be the responsible Minister in respect of the prescribed authority specified in Column 2 of that item in that Schedule.".
Schedule 1
3. Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is repealed and the Schedule set out in Schedule 1 to these Regulations is substituted.

Schedule 2
4. (1) Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations is amended—
(a) by omitting from Column 3 of each of items 3, 6, 13, 46, 47, 48, 50, 52, 53, 54, 62, 81, 89, 99 and 177 "the Capital Territory" and substituting "Territories and Local Government";
(b) by omitting items 72 to 77 (inclusive), 91, 96 and 184; and
(c) by inserting in its proper numerical position in that Schedule each of the items set out in Schedule 2 to these Regulations.
(2) Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations is further amended as set out in Schedule 3 to these Regulations.

5. Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations is repealed and the Schedule set out in Schedule 4 to these Regulations is substituted.
