1 Name of Regulations [see Note 1]
These Regulations are the Freedom of Information (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 1982.
In these Regulations, the Act means the Freedom of Information Act 1982.
For the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of prescribed authority in subsection 4 (1) of the Act, each of the bodies specified in Schedule 1 is declared to be a prescribed authority for the purposes of the Act.
For subparagraph (b) (i) of the definition of principal officer in subsection 4 (1) of the Act, an office mentioned in an item in Schedule 2 is declared to be the principal office for the authority mentioned in the item.
5 Information Commissioner’s annual report — giving information
For paragraph 93 (3) (a) of the Act, the following table sets out times for giving information.

Note 1
The Freedom of Information (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 1982 (in force under the Freedom of Information Act 1982) as shown in this compilation comprise Statutory Rules 1982 No. 323 amended as indicated in the Tables below.
The Freedom of Information (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 1982 were amended by the Telstra (Transition to Full Private Ownership) Act 2005 (Act No. 118, 2005) and commenced on the designated day declared under section 3 of the Act. The designated day was declared to be 24 November 2006, see F2006L03997. The amendments are incorporated in this compilation. For application, saving or transitional provisions see Schedule 1, Part 2 [item 51] of the Act.
