Therapeutic Goods (Charges) Regulations 2 (Amendment)

 

 

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Therapeutic Goods (Charges) Act 1989.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Therapeutic Goods (Charges) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

 

 

2.   Regulation 3 (Charges)

2.1   After the regulation, insert:

 

 

 

 

       “[NOTE: Charges reduced where annual turnover is not more than $50,000

  Under regulation 45a of the Therapeutic Goods Regulations, the annual charge for a licence under Part 4 of the Act, payable by a person whose wholesale turnover of therapeutic goods in a financial year is not more than $50,000, is half of the relevant amount specified in subregulation 3 (2).]”.

 

 

3.   Regulation 5 (Charges payable where estimate of turnover is too low)

3.1   Subregulation 5 (2):

Omit “regulation 3”, substitute “subregulation 3 (1)”.
