Wheat Marketing Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Wheat Marketing Act 1989.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Wheat Marketing Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Regulation 2A (Products of the soil that are grain for the purposes of the Act)

2.1   Omit the regulation, substitute:

Products of the soil that are grain for the purposes of the Act

 “2A. For the purposes of paragraph (c) of the definition of ‘grain’ in subsection 3 (1) of the Act, the following products of the soil are declared to be grain:

 (a) canola;

 (b) cottonseed.”.
