Wheat Marketing Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Wheat Marketing Act 1989.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Wheat Marketing Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   New regulation 2A

2.1   After regulation 2, insert:

Products of the soil that are grain for the purposes of the Act

 “2A. For the purposes of the definition of ‘grain’ in subsection 3 (1) of the Act, the following products of the soil are declared to be grain:

 (a) pasture seeds;

 (b) tree seeds;

 (c) horticultural seeds.”.
