REGULATIONS UNDER THE SUPERANNUATION ACT 19761
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Superannuation Act 1976.

SUPERANNUATION (COST OF ADMINISTRATION)
REGULATIONS
1 Citation
These Regulations may be cited as the Superannuation (Cost of Administration) Regulations.
2 Interpretation
(1) In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears, “the Act” means the Superannuation Act 1976.
(2) In these Regulations—
(a) a reference to the cost of office accommodation includes a reference to—
(i) payments made by way of rental or under a lease in respect of office accommodation; and
(ii) the cost of fuel, light, power, cleaning, water, sewerage and garbage services, repairs and maintenance in respect of office accommodation; and
(b) a reference to salaries includes a reference to—
(i) remuneration and annual allowances paid in respect of members of the Trust; and
(ii) recreation and long-service leave payments, leave bonuses, sick leave payments and payments under the Compensation (Commonwealth Government Employees) Act 1971,
but does not include a reference to overtime payments.
(3) A reference in regulation 3 to the costs of and incidental to the management of the Fund includes a reference to costs that have accrued but are not paid on the date of commencement of these Regulations.
3 Costs of administration of Fund
For the purposes of section 160 of the Act, the costs of and incidental to the management of the Fund by the Trust that shall be paid out of the Fund are all costs other than those relating to salaries, office accommodation and furniture.
