Radiocommunications (Exemption – Visiting Dignitaries) Instrument 2023 (No. 3)

 

The Australian Communications and Media Authority makes the following instrument under subsection 9(1) of the Radiocommunications (Exemption – Visiting Dignitaries) Determination 2023.

1  Name

                   This is the Radiocommunications (Exemption – Visiting Dignitaries) Instrument 2023 (No 3).

2  Commencement

                   This instrument commences at the start of the day after the day it is registered.

Note:    This instrument is to be registered as a notifiable instrument on the Federal Register of Legislation, which may be accessed free of charge at www.legislation.gov.au.

3  Repeal of this instrument

                   This instrument is repealed at the start of the day that is the first anniversary of the day it commences.

4  Authority

                   This instrument is made under subsection 9(1) of the Radiocommunications (Exemption – Visiting Dignitaries) Determination 2023.

5  Visiting Dignitary

(1)   His Excellency Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, is a visiting dignitary.

(2)   A dignitary security period for the visiting dignitary named in subsection (1) is hereby specified for the period between 18 May 2023 and 28 May 2023 inclusive.
