1  Name

                   This instrument is the List of Threatened Species Amendment (372) Instrument 2023.

2  Commencement

                   This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

3  Authority

                   This instrument is made under section 184 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.

4  Schedules

                   Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1Amendments

Declaration under s178, s181, and s183 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999

 

1  In the appropriate position under the heading “SPECIES THAT ARE CRITICALLY ENDANGERED”

Insert the following species:

(a)                   Euastacus dalagarbe

(b)                   Euastacus jagabar

(c)                   Euastacus morgani

2  In the appropriate position under the heading “SPECIES THAT ARE ENDANGERED”

Insert the following species:

(a)                   Euastacus gamilaroi

(b)                   Euastacus girurmulayn

(c)                   Euastacus gumar

(d)                   Euastacus rieki

(e)                   Euastacus suttoni
