This instrument amends the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 80/03 – Emission Control for Heavy Vehicles) 2006 to clarify that vehicles complying with Australian Design Rule 80/04 do not also need to demonstrate compliance to Australian Design Rule 80/03.

1            LEGISLATIVE PROVISIONS

 

1.1                   NAME OF LEGISLATIVE INSTRUMENT

 

1.1.1             This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 80/03 – Emission Control for Heavy Vehicles) 2006 Amendment 4.

1.1.2        This instrument may also be cited as ADR 80/03 Amendment 4.

 

1.2          COMMENCEMENT

 

1.2.1        This instrument commences the day after it is registered.

 

2            AMENDMENT OF VEHICLE STANDARD

 

2.1.1             The changes specified in Schedule 1 amend Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 80/03 – Emission Control for Heavy Vehicles) 2006.

 

3                    SCHEDULE 1

After Clause 2.4, insert:

“2.5     Vehicles complying with ADR 80/04 need not comply with this vehicle standard.”
