1  Name of Instrument

                   This Instrument is the Autonomous Sanctions (Designated Persons and Entities and Declared Persons – Russia and Ukraine) List 2014.

Part 2Designations of persons and entities and declarations of persons

  

3  Designated persons and entities and declared persons—Ukraine

             (1)  For the purposes of paragraph 6(a) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011, each person or entity mentioned in an item of a table in Schedule 1 is designated as a designated person or entity for Ukraine.

             (2)  For the purposes of paragraph 6(b) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011, each person mentioned in an item of the table in Part 1 of Schedule 1 is declared for the purpose of preventing the person from travelling to, entering or remaining in Australia.

3A  Designated persons and entities and declared persons—Russia

             (1)  For the purposes of paragraph 6(a) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011, each person or entity mentioned in an item of a table in Schedule 2 is designated as a designated person or entity for Russia.

             (2)  For the purposes of paragraph 6(b) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011, each person mentioned in an item of the table in Part 1 of Schedule 2 is declared for the purpose of preventing the person from travelling to, entering or remaining in Australia.

Part 3Continuation of effect of designations and declarations

  

4  Purpose of this Part

                   This Part is made for the purposes of subregulation 9(3) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011.

5  Continuation of effect of designations and declarations on and after date of making of the Autonomous Sanctions (Designated Persons and Entities and Declared Persons – Ukraine) Amendment (No.1) Instrument 2022

             (1)  The designation, under paragraph 6(a) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011, of the persons mentioned in items 154 to 163 in Part 1 of Schedule 1 continues to have effect.

             (2)  The declaration, under paragraph 6(b) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011, of the persons mentioned in items 154 to 163 in Part 1 of Schedule 1 continues to have effect.

6  Continuation of effect of designations and declarations on and after date of making of the Autonomous Sanctions (Designated Persons and Entities and Declared Persons – Russia and Ukraine) Amendment (No. 7) Instrument 2023

             (1)  The designation, under paragraph 6(a) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011, of the persons mentioned in items 2 to 4, 6, 9 to 11, 15, 19, 21, 23, 25, 31 and 32, 41, 43 and 110 in Part 1 of Schedule 1 continues to have effect.
