This instrument amends the Fuel Quality Standards (Petrol) Determination 2019 to bring forward the implementation of 10 milligrams per kilogram (equivalent to ‘parts per million’ or ‘ppm’ by mass) sulfur from 1 July 2027 to 15 December 2024 for all grades of petrol.

1  Name

                   This instrument is the Fuel Quality Standards (Petrol) Amendment Determination 2022.

2  Commencement

             (1)  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

            Omit “30 June 2027”, substitute “14 December 2024”.
