This instrument amends the Therapeutic Goods (Standard for Tablets, Capsules and Pills) (TGO 101) Order 2019 to defer the commencement of section 16, which specifies requirements for elemental impurities and limits for residual solvents in tablets and capsules, from 31 March 2021 to 30 June 2021.

1  Name

                   This instrument is the Therapeutic Goods (Standard for Tablets, Capsules and Pills) Amendment Order 2020.

2  Commencement

             (1)  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.
