The Council of the University makes the following statute.

Part 1—Preliminary

1          Name

This is the Australian National University (Repeal) Statute 2020.

2          Commencement

This instrument commences on 1 January 2021.

3          Authority

This instrument is made under the Australian National University Act 1991, section 50 (Statutes).

Part 2—Repeals

4          Statute repeals

The following statutes are repealed:

                                           (a)    Academic and Ceremonial Dress Statute 2005;
                                          (b)    Academic Misconduct Statute 2014;
                                           (c)    Appeals Statute 2014;
                                          (d)    Australian National University (Academic Board) Statute 2017;
                                           (e)    Australian National University (ANU College Governance) Statute 2017;
                                           (f)    Australian National University (Interpretation) Statute 2017;
                                           (g)    Chancellorship Statute 2012;
                                          (h)    Convocation Statute;
                                            (i)    Council (Elections) Statute 2016;
                                            (j)    Deputy Vice-Chancellorship Statute 2002;
                                          (k)    Discipline Statute 2005;
                                            (l)    Fees Statute 2006;
                                        (m)    Halls of Residence Statute 2005;
                                          (n)    Information Infrastructure and Services Statute 2012;
                                          (o)    Medical Leave Statute 2007;
                                          (p)    Pro-Chancellorship Statute 2014;
                                          (q)    Programs and Awards Statute 2013;
                                            (r)    University Seal Statute 2002;
                                           (s)    Vice-Chancellorship Statute 2013.

5          Rule repeals

The following rules are repealed:

                                           (a)    Academic Board Rule 2017;
                                          (b)    ANU College Governance Rules (No. 2) 2013;
                                           (c)    Convocation Rules 2005;
                                          (d)    Council (Elections) Rule 2016;
                                           (e)    Coursework Awards Rule 2019;
                                           (f)    Coursework Handbook Rules 2013;
                                           (g)    Halls of Residence Rules 2005;
                                          (h)    Honorary Degrees Rules 2015;
                                            (i)    Information Infrastructure and Services Rule 2015;
                                            (j)    University Seal Rules 2005.

6          Order repeals

The following orders are repealed:

                                           (a)    Academic Board (Election of Members) Order 2020;
                                          (b)    Council (Elections) Order 2020;
                                           (c)    Information Infrastructure and Services Order 2016.
