This instrument reissues Civil Aviation Order 95.10 Instrument 2017 in order to continue to exempt microlight aeroplanes from particular requirements of the Civil Aviation Regulations 1988 and the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998. This will ensure the continuation of the appropriate level of regulation of the operations of such aeroplanes until the instrument is superseded on the commencement of Part 103 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998, or at the end of 30 September 2023, whichever occurs sooner.
