This instrument amends the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage (Greenhouse Gas Injection and Storage) Regulations 2011 and the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage (Resource Management and Administration) Regulations 2011 to enable effective regulation and administration of greenhouse gas storage formations that straddle the boundary between Commonwealth waters and State/Northern Territory coastal waters.
