These regulations amend the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority Regulations 2006 (renamed Sport Integrity Australia Regulations 2020 on 1 July 2020), Australian Crime Commission Regulations 2018, Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulations 1956 and the Electoral and Referendum Regulation 2016 to support the implementation of the Sport Integrity Australia Act 2020 and the National Sports Tribunal Act 2019 (NST Act). In addition, the instrument will implement the lower-level athlete reforms as requested by the Government in its response to the Review of Australia’s Sports Integrity Arrangements.
