This is a compilation of the Radiocommunications (Specified Radiocommunications Receivers and Types of Transmitter Licences and Receiver Licences) Determination 2014 that shows the text of the law as amended and in force on 31 January 2020 (the compilation date).
The notes at the end of this compilation (the endnotes) include information about amending laws and the amendment history of provisions of the compiled law.

1 Name of Determination
This Determination is the Radiocommunications (Specified Radiocommunications Receivers and Types of Transmitter Licences and Receiver Licences) Determination 2014.
4 Radiocommunications receivers
For the purposes of paragraph 7 (1) (b) of the Radiocommunications Act 1992, a radiocommunications receiver is specified if it is, or forms part of:
(a) an earth receive station; or
(b) a fixed receive station; or
(c) a major coast receive station; or
(d) a space receive station; or
(e) a defence receive station; or
(f) an area-wide receive station.

5 Transmitter licences
For the purposes of subsection 98 (1) of the Radiocommunications Act 1992, the ACMA may issue a transmitter licence of a type specified in column 2 of an item in Schedule 1.

6 Receiver licences
For the purposes of subsection 98 (1) of the Radiocommunications Act 1992, the ACMA may issue a receiver licence of a type specified in column 2 of an item in Schedule 2.
