
Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery (Total Allowable Catch) Determination 2019
The Australian Fisheries Management Authority makes the following determination in accordance with a decision made by the Commissioners under section 25 of the Fisheries Administration Act 1991.

1 Name
This instrument is the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery (Total Allowable Catch) Determination 2019.
2 Commencement
This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.
3 Repeal
This instrument is repealed on 1 January 2020.
4 Authority
This instrument is made under paragraph 17(6)(aa) of the Act for the purpose of section 27 of the Plan.
5 Definitions
(1) In this instrument:
Act means the Fisheries Management Act 1991.
Plan means the Bass Strait Central Zone Scallop Fishery Management Plan 2002.
(2) A term used in this instrument that is defined for the purposes of the Plan has the same meaning in this instrument as it has in the Plan.
Note: Terms defined in the Fisheries Management Act 1991 have the same meanings in this instrument.
6 Determination of total allowable catch
(1) This section applies for the fishing season commencing on 1 April 2019.
(2) For a species of fish specified in an item in column 1 of the table, the total allowable catch, in tonnes, in whole weight including shells for that species is determined in column 2.
