These regulations repeal the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Regulations 1999 which are due to sunset on 1 April 2019, and amend the A New Tax System (Wine Equalisation Tax) Regulations 2000 and the Customs Regulation 2015 to make consequential amendments to reflect the replacement of those regulations with the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Regulations 2019.
