This instrument permits holders of a private pilot licence to exercise the privileges of the licence if they meet the AUSTROADS commercial vehicle driver medical standards, instead of the aviation-specific medical standards prescribed under the Civil Aviation Act 1988, subject to conditions and operational limitations.
