Regulations as made
These regulations amend multiple regulations to update the fees payable in the federal courts and tribunals, and juror remuneration in the Federal Court of Australia. These regulations provide that fees and juror remuneration will index to Consumer Price Index (CPI) annually, rather than biennially. Additionally, the regulation increases base fees payable in the High Court of Australia (17.5%), the Federal Court (3.9%) and for general federal law matters in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia (3.9%).
