This instrument extends the period of operation of the declaration in ASIC Class Order [CO 12/749] to the effect that certain superannuation and managed investment products need not comply with the obligation to prepare a shorter Product Disclosure Statement under subdivision 4.2B or 4.2C of the Corporations Regulations 2001.

Part 1—Preliminary

1        Name of legislative instrument

This instrument is ASIC Corporations (Amendment) Instrument 2018/473.

2        Commencement

This instrument commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.

Note:    The register may be accessed at www.legislation.gov.au.

3        Authority

This instrument is made under paragraph 1020F(1)(c) of the Corporations Act 2001.

4        Schedules

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended as set out in the applicable items in that Schedule.

1        Paragraph 6

Omit “30 June 2018”, substitute “30 June 2022”.
