This instrument amends the ASIC Corporations (Derivative Transaction Reporting Exemption) Instrument 2015/844 to extend the traditional time-limited exemptive relief provided under 2015/844 in the area of relief from the requirement to report a trade identifier that is a 'universal transaction identifier' or 'single transaction identifier', where the Reporting Entity reports other specified identifiers.

Part 1—Preliminary

1        Name of legislative instrument

This is the ASIC Corporations (Amendment) Instrument 2018/172.

2        Commencement

This instrument commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.

Note:    The register may be accessed at www.legislation.gov.au.  

3        Authority

This instrument is made under paragraph 907D(2)(a) of the Corporations Act 2001.

4        Schedule

The instrument specified in Schedule 1 to this instrument is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

ASIC Corporations (Derivative Transaction Reporting Exemption) Instrument 2015/844

1        Subsection 11(1)

Omit “31 March 2018”, substitute “31 March 2020”.
