Licence Area Plan – Atherton Radio

 

(1)        This plan for radio broadcasting services in the Atherton area of northern Queensland is made under subsection 26(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

(2)        Eight national radio broadcasting services, two commercial radio broadcasting services and two open narrowcasting radio services are to be available in the Atherton area described at Attachment 1.1 to this plan with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 1.1 are set out in the Schedule and Attachments 1.2 - 1.18 to this plan.

(3)        One community service is to be available in the Mareeba area described at Attachment 2.1 to this plan with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the service that is to be available in the area described at Attachment 2.1 are set out in the Schedule and Attachment 2.2 to this plan.
