Broadcasting and Datacasting Services (Parental Lock) Technical Standard Amendment 2017 (No. 1)

 

The Australian Communications and Media Authority makes the following Technical Standard Amendment under subsection 130B(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

1  Name

                   This is the Broadcasting and Datacasting Services (Parental Lock) Technical Standard Amendment 2017 (No. 1).

2  Commencement

                   This instrument commences at the start of the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.

3  Authority

                   This instrument is made under subsection 130B(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

4  Amendments

                   The instrument that is specified in Schedule 1 is amended as set out in the applicable items in that Schedule.


 

Schedule 1—Amendments

Broadcasting and Datacasting Services (Parental Lock) Technical Standard 2010 (Registration No. F2010L02220)

1  Section 3 (definition of electricity supply body)

Omit the definition, substitute:

electricity supply body means an authority or body corporate that carries on either or both of the following businesses:

(a)        supplying electricity;

(b)        managing the supply of electricity.

2  Paragraph 4(2)(h)

Repeal the paragraph.
