1  Name

                   This instrument is the Migration Amendment (Working Holiday Maker Visa Application Charges) Regulations 2017.

2  Commencement

             (1)  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

1.  The whole of this instrument

Immediately after the commencement of Schedule 1 to the Treasury Laws Amendment (Working Holiday Maker Reform) Act 2016.

3  Authority

                   This instrument is made under the Migration Act 1958.

                   Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

1  Paragraphs 1224A(2)(a) and 1225(2)(a) of Schedule 1

Omit “$390”, substitute “$440”.

2  In the appropriate position in Schedule 13

6101  Operation of Schedule 1

                   The amendments of these Regulations made by Schedule 1 to the Migration Amendment (Working Holiday Maker Visa Application Charges) Regulations 2017 apply in relation to an application for a visa made on or after the commencement of that Schedule.
