The Threat Abatement Plan for Dieback caused by the root-rot fungus Phytophthora cinnamomi, was approved by the Minister for the Environment and Heritage on 15 September 2001: see Supporting Material.

This instrument was replaced by the Threat Abatement Plan for Disease in Natural Ecosystems caused by Phytophthora Cinnamomi (2009) (F2009L02168) with effect from 18 June 2009.

On 17 November 2009 the Threat Abatement Plan for Disease in Natural Ecosystems caused by Phytophthora Cinnamomi (2009) was disallowed in the Senate, with the effect being that the Threat Abatement Plan for Dieback caused by the root-rot fungus Phytophthora cinnamomi (this instrument) has been reactivated and has been in force since 17 November 2009.
