Dental Benefits Amendment Rule 2016 (No. 2)

This rule amends the Dental Benefits Rules 2014 to reduce the two year benefits cap for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule to $700 and changes the date to which a dental service provided by a State or Territory is eligible for dental benefits to 31 December 2019.

1              Name of Rule

                This Rule is the Dental Benefits Amendment Rule 2016 (No. 2).

2              Commencement

                This Rule commences on 1 January 2017.

3              Authority

                This Rule is made under the Dental Benefits Act 2008.

4              Schedule(s)

                Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
