This regulation amends the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Regulations 1995 by inserting a reference to the exemption list for non-quarantine and pre-shipment applications of methyl bromide for 2017 and the intermediate supplier list for non-QPS applications of methyl bromide for 2017.

1  Name

                   This is the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Amendment Regulation 2016.

2  Commencement

             (1)  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

                   This instrument is made under the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Act 1989.

Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Regulations 1995

1  Regulation 200 (after paragraph (l) of the definition of Non‑QPS Exemption List)

Insert:

           ; and (m)  for the year 2017—the document called Exemption List for Non‑QPS Applications of Methyl Bromide in 2017, published by the Department, as in force on 1 January 2017.

2  Subregulation 213(6) (after paragraph (l) of the definition of Non‑QPS Intermediate Supplier List)

Insert:

           ; and (m)  for the year 2017—the document called Intermediate Supplier List for Non‑QPS Applications of Methyl Bromide in 2017, published by the Department, as in force on 1 January 2017.
