This regulation declares the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) as an organisation to which the International Organisations (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1963 applies and confers on it juridical personality and legal capacity; and confers privileges and immunities that are necessary or desirable for the effective conduct of activities in Australia by the OPCW, its high officers, officers, representatives from other countries attending OPCW conferences and other persons performing technical missions.
