1  Name

                   This is the Trans-Tasman Proceedings Amendment (2016 Measures No. 1) Regulation 2016.

2  Commencement

             (1)  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

                   This instrument is made under the Trans‑Tasman Proceedings Act 2010.

4  Schedules

                   Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1Amendments

  

Trans‑Tasman Proceedings Regulation 2012

1  Subregulation 9(2)

Repeal the subregulation, substitute:

             (2)  For paragraph 29(1)(c) of the Act, the following Australian tribunals are prescribed:

                     (a)  Administrative Appeals Tribunal (Commonwealth);

                     (b)  Trans‑Tasman IP Attorneys Disciplinary Tribunal (Commonwealth).

2  After paragraph 12(aa)

Insert:

                   (ab)  Trans‑Tasman IP Attorneys Disciplinary Tribunal (Commonwealth);

3  Subregulation 13(2)

Repeal the subregulation, substitute:

             (2)  For paragraph 49(1)(c) of the Act, the following Australian tribunals are prescribed:

                     (a)  Administrative Appeals Tribunal (Commonwealth);

                     (b)  Trans‑Tasman IP Attorneys Disciplinary Tribunal (Commonwealth).

4  After subparagraph 15(1)(a)(i)

Insert:

                            (ia)  Auditor Regulation Act 2011 (NZ);

5  After subparagraph 15(1)(a)(iv)

Insert:

                          (iva)  Financial Advisers Act 2008 (NZ);

6  After subparagraph 15(1)(a)(v)

Insert:

                           (va)  Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 (NZ);

                           (vb)  Financial Reporting Act 2013 (NZ);

7  After subparagraph 15(1)(a)(vii)

Insert:

                         (viia)  Food Act 2014 (NZ);
