This instrument amends the Midwife Professional Indemnity (Commonwealth Contribution) Scheme Rules 2010 to amend the definition of ‘eligible midwife’ so that it reflects key changes to registration standards for midwifery in Australia, and repeals the Midwife Professional Indemnity (Commonwealth Contribution) Scheme Rules 2010 (No. 2) consequential to its incorporation into the Midwife Professional Indemnity (Commonwealth Contribution) Scheme Rules 2010, streamlining Commonwealth legislation.
