1  Name

                   This instrument is the Quality Agency Principles Amendment Principle 2016.

2  Commencement

             (1)  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3  Authority

                   This instrument is made under section 53 of the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency Act 2013.

4  Schedules

                   Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.


Schedule 1—Amendments

Quality Agency Principles 2013

1  Section 1.4 (definition of CPI number)

Repeal the definition.

2  Section 1.4 (definition of earlier CPI number)

Repeal the definition.

3  Section 1.4 (definition of indexable amount)

Repeal the definition.

4  Section 1.4 (definition of latest CPI number)

Repeal the definition.

5  Paragraph2.3(1)(d)

Omit “under section 2.5”.

6  Section 2.5

Repeal the section.

7  Section 2.10

Omit “receiving the application”, substitute “receiving an application under section 2.2”.

8  Section 2.11

Omit “receiving the application”, substitute “receiving an application under section 2.2”.

9  Chapter 2 Part 7

Repeal the Part.
