Part 1—Preliminary

1        Name of legislative instrument

This instrument is ASIC Credit (Amendment) Instrument 2016/62.

2        Commencement

This instrument commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

Note:    The register may be accessed at www.comlaw.gov.au.

3        Authority

This instrument is made under subsection 203A(3) of National Credit Code.

Note:    The Code is found in Schedule 1 to the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009.

4        Schedules

The instrument that is specified in Schedule 1 to this instrument is amended as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule.

1        paragraph 5

Omit “1 March 2016”, substitute “1 March 2018”.
